In the past, they have brought in his car and a mobile unit with interactive activities the students can explore. We try to have as many students as possible exposed to the STEM related experience

Indigo Workshop 12-6pm. 1822 State St., Granite City, IL Over the past few months, artist Allana Ross has planted and nurtured indigo plants on-site at the Granite City Arts and Design District. In this workshop, she will teach us how to harvest, process and use these plants to dye fabric! What to bring: Rubber bands, Bulldog clips, String. Zero Mile Fun Run for Parkinson's 8 am -10am 1900 Pontoon Rd., Granite City Here is your chance to support the Parkson's Foundation without ever breaking a sweat. The event will be at Nameoki United Methodist Church in Granite City, IL. There will be a light breakfast at 8am, silent auction, live music, boxing and yoga stations. All proceeds go to the Parkinson's Foundation. A donation of $25 provides 6 people with books about Parkinson's, $50 provides answers to hundreds of online visitors to "Ask the Doctor", $100 provides 10 live saving Aware in Care kits, $500 helps the Parkinson's Helpline answer 20 calls.
